Badminton Fever

Badminton FeverI was the first one to arrive at Cheryl's home. Her sister, Brenda, was there for a visit. She's from Las Vegas and she looked similar to her. It was still raining so we had our lunch inside. I had brought eggplant omelet which I cooked earlier and chicharon. Cheryl, on the other hand, had prepared several things.

After the light rain, the kids ran outside to play. But before anyone could wipe the slide dry, Sweetpea had already slipped down on it with a happy grin on her face. Good thing, I brought her some extra clothes.

It was Jade and Jasmine's tenth birthday, too. As usual, we hovered around the table to sing for the twins. Then they blew their candles together.

What made today's playdate different was that the adults had the chance to play, too. The day was cloudy. The weather was just right. The net was on, and we had a bunch of badminton rackets and shuttlecocks around.

It was our first time to play badminton together and the game was so much fun and intense. Even the kids wanted to join with us. So, they took over!
