Ivy had promised to pick us up today and she finally came past eleven thirty with her new Chrysler Town & Country van. She said she was starving, but we had to pick Maricel and Kirby then drop by the grocery store to buy some icecream and juice. Ivy already brought some pancit guisado, Maricel brought some torons and I brought a modified beef caldereta and some cotton candy for the kids.
When we arrived at Cheryl's place, we decided to sit down for lunch even before Sandy's arrival. I enjoyed Cheryl's bulad and monggo dish. Her meatballs were also awesome.
The sun was up and the weather was nice. While Sandy and Maricel were watching a movie and Blessy and Cheryl were checking out Ivy's van, the kids were playing in the yard. I was surprised to see Sweetpea sit on the swing without any help. She also enjoyed playing on the slide with Jessa and Jacinda.
Ivy was busy assisting the little ones climb up the ladder while I was snapping photos of them. Occasionally, I had to holler at the little boys who, on the other hand, were more interested in exploring beyond the yard. After having fun, we went inside the house to eat some ice cream.
